Lakers Stun Warriors 112-95

The Los Angeles Lakers stunned the Golden State Warriors on Sunday afternoon 112-95. In one of the most surprising wins of the season Los Angeles handed the Warriors their sixth loss of the year.

Jordan Clarkson led the way for the Lakers with 25 points and 4 rebounds. D’Angelo Russell chipped in 21 points to go along with 5 assists and 3 rebounds.

Julius Randle recorded a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds while Kobe Bryant chipped in 12 points. Brandon Bass and Nick Young each scored 13 points off the bench. Marcelo Huertas added 10 points to go along with 9 assists in 27 minutes.

The reigning MVP Stephen Curry struggled and ended up with 18 points, 4 assists, and 6 rebounds. Klay Thompson added 15 points and Draymond Green was a point a assist shy of a triple-double.

Golden State struggled to hit perimeter shots against the Lakers. They were just 4/30 from behind the arch and shot 40% from the field.

The Warriors also recorded 20 turnovers compared to the Lakers 13. Up next for Los Angeles will take on the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night at the Staples Center.
