Lakers Host Defending Champion Warriors On ABC

The Los Angeles Lakers will host the defending champion Golden State Warriors on Sunday afternoon on ABC. Los Angeles is coming off a tough loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night.
Golden State comes into the game with 55-5 record while Los Angeles sports a 12-51 clip. The Lakers are on a two game losing streak.
Reigning MVP Stephen Curry is hopeful to play today. He is suffering from a ankle injury but should be good to go today. Andre Iguodala is listed as questionable with a hamstring issue. He is trending toward being doubtful for the contest.
Jordan Clarkson is listed as questionable for today’s game. He is dealing with a knee injury that made him miss the contest on Friday night.
Anthony Brown is out for at least four weeks due to a stress reaction in his right foot. Brown was getting extended playing time due to Kobe Bryant being out with nagging injuries.
Golden State is led by their All-Stars Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. Curry is averaging 30.7 points and 6.6 assists on the season.
Thompson is second on the team averaging 21.8 points a night, and Green is averaging 13.8 points and 9.7 rebounds.
It will be tough challenge for the Lakers tonight and good test for rookie D’Angelo Russell. Let’s get this win Lakers!
