According to Micheal Russo of the Star Tribune the Los Angeles Kings have acquired Brett Sutter from the Minnesota Wild.

Sutter is a former sixth round pick of the Calgary Flames in the 2005 NHL Draft. He spent four years with the Carolina Hurricanes, 3 years with the Flames, and one year with the Minnesota Wild.

Sutter is the son of coach Darryl Sutter and will most likely end up in the AHL with the Ontario Reign. Los Angeles made a few moves at the deadline with this being one of them.
