Denver Broncos Vs. San Diego Chargers, Start Time, Preview, TV
- Updated: December 14, 2014
The Denver Broncos will travel to San Diego to take on the Chargers in one of the biggest games of the season. The Chargers are coming off a loss to the Patriots which featured one of their poorest offensive performances of the year.
If the Broncos win this afternoon they will clinch their fourth straight division title. If the Chargers lose it puts a huge damper on the SuperChargers chance at a playoff spot.
While the Chargers enter this game trailing the Broncos by two games a win would do them a huge favor. While many Charger fans are concerned with how the offense looked in their last game Philip Rivers didn’t seem to worried. He spoke to the Chargers official website about the manner.
“I think it’s our veteran leaders and then we have a lot of young guys who are eager to follow,” he said. “We fight and care for one another, and love one another. We’re going to rebound and bounce back, and play like crazy (Sunday).”
A key factor in today’s game will be how the Chargers defense reacts to the high powered Broncos offense. The Broncos currently rank 5th in offense scoring nearly 30 points a game. We all know how great Peyton Manning is, but C.J. Anderson has come on strong of late in the back field.
The Chargers looked to sure up some of their special team issues as they signed punter Mat McBriar to take over after an injury to Mike Scifices.
The Broncos have won 4 out of the last 5 meetings with the Chargers, and the Chargers look to answer the bell with a big win.
