Clippers Look To Bounce Back Against Suns
- Updated: February 22, 2016
The Los Angeles Clippers will take on the Phoenix Suns at the Staples Center on Monday night. While Los Angeles is coming off a tough loss against the Golden State Warriors over the weekend they will look to bounce back against a struggling Suns team.
Phoenix comes into tonight with a 14-42 record, while the Clippers have a 36-19 record. Phoenix is on a 11 game losing streak.
Phoenix made trade at the deadline with the Washington Wizards. They set Markieff Morris to the Wizards and received a draft pick and Kris Humphries and DeJuan Blair.
Humphries got the start on Sunday and Ronnie Price also got the start in a late move. Jamal Crawford played extremely well in the Clippers most recent loss and they will need him to continue that strong play until Austin Rivers and Blake Griffin return.
One of the bright spots of the Suns this year has been rook Devin Booker. Booker is averaging 10.6 points per game this season. Alex Len got the start for the Suns in their last game as well. He is a young big man who poured in 23 points and 13 rebounds.
Tonight should be a solid win for the Clippers Chris Paul and J.J. Redick should lead this team to a victory.
