Nance Jr. has played in 40 games this season with the club starting in 22 of them. He is averaging about 6 points and 5 rebounds a game.
He had missed some time due to a sore knee and the Lakers wanted to take precautionary measures. As the Lakers try to continue their development of their young players it is important that Nance Jr. receives that playing time.
