Clippers Host Spurs on TNT

The Los Angeles Clippers will host the San Antonio Spurs at the Staples Center tonight. This will be the first game since the All-Star break for either team as both teams jockey for playoff position down the stretch.
Los Angeles comes into the game with a 35-18 record while the Spurs sport a 45-8 record. In San Antonio’s last game they beat the Orlando Magic thanks to a Kawhi Leonard buzzer beater.
The Spurs did just lose their assistant general manager Sean Marks to the Brooklyn Nets. Brooklyn hired him as their new gm. Matt Bonner has been ruled out for tonight’s game. He is dealing with a calf injury and will not be able to play.
For the Clippers Lance Stephenson was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies for Jeff Green. Clippers fans are extremely excited about the move.
It is unknown if Green will play tonight or not at the time of this writing.
San Antonio is lead by Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge. Leonard leads the team with 20.2 points a game to go along with 6.7 rebounds.
Aldridge is second on the team with 17.o points a game to go along with 8.4 rebounds. With Blake Griffin still out the Clippers will need to rely on Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan, and J.J. Redick heavily.
