Anaheim Ducks Take On Calgary Flame

The red hot Anaheim Ducks will travel to Calgary to take on the Flames on Monday afternoon. Anaheim is one of the hottest teams in the league and they look to continue that momentum today.

Calgary comes into tonight with a record of 25-26-3 clip, while the Ducks sport a 27-19-8 record. Anaheim may be without All-Star John Gibson. He suffered a upper-body injury during the game against the Chicago Blackhawks.

As a insurance policy the Ducks recalled Anton Khudobin in case Gibson can’t go. Clayton Stoner was on the ice for Anaheim over the weekend. He is dealing with a hip injury and there is no timetable for a return as of now.

For the Flames Jonas Hiller will get the start in net. Wes Gilbertson of Postmedia reported the news.

Calgary is led by Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan this season. Gaudreau leads the team with 51 points, 21 goals and 30 assists. Monahan is second on the team with 36 points, 17 points and 19 assists.

This will be a tough week for the Ducks who play three games in four days this week. Let’s get this win Anaheim!
