Blue Jackets Beat Ducks In Shootout

Anaheim Ducks fell to the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-3 in a shootout. Anaheim was able to take away one point from last night.
David Perron got the Ducks on the board first. He scored a snap shot goal that was assisted by Chris Stewart and Ryan Getzlaf. After the first period Anaheim led 1-0.
In the second period the Anaheim struck first at the end of the period. Mike Santorelli scored a snap shot goal that was assisted by Getzlaf and Perron.
Just seven seconds later the Blue Jackets responded. William Karlsson scored snapshot goal that was assisted by Nick Foligno. After two the Ducks led 2-1.
In the third period Ryan Garbutt scored a snap shot goal that was assisted by Jakob Silfverberg and Josh Manson. With the Ducks ahead 3-1 it looked like they would be able to hold on.
The Blue Jackets answered back with a Brandon Saad wrist shot goal. Alexander Wennberg and Cody Goloubef were credited with assists.
Brandon Dubinsky scored a wrist shot goal to tie the game at 3-3. Nick Foligno and Seth Jones were credited with the assists.
Cam Atkinson and Alexander Wennberg each scored shootout goals and the Blue Jackets won 4-3. Up next for the Ducks they will take on the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday night.
