Featherston is a former 5th round pick of the Colorado Rockies back in the 2011 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut on April 15 of 2015 and played in 101 games.
He struggled from behind the plate as he hit just .162 and had a OBP of .212. Featherston does have value as a utility player. He saw time at third base, shortstop, and second base last season.
