The Los Angeles Clippers will travel to Los Angeles to take on the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night at the TD Garden. This will be the first game since the team learned that star power forward Blake Griffin will be suspended four games without pay for his incident with a team employee.
Los Angeles comes into the game with a 35-17 record while the Celtics sports a 31-23 clip. It will be battle in the backcourt as two All-Stars will square off. Isiah Thomas was named to the All-Star for the first time in his career while Chris Paul has been on the team multiple times.
For Boston Jae Crowder is dealing with a sprained ankle but played in last night’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks. This Boston Celtics team may be very different come next Thursday with the trade deadline looming.
It will also be a homecoming of sorts for Paul Pierce and Doc Rivers who won a championship with the club back in 2008. Expect both Rivers coaching staff and Pierce to receive a standing ovation.

Boston has been involved in various trade talks over the last few days and are looking to pull the trigger on a deal. With Atlanta looking to break up their core Al Horford could be a potential landing spot for the bigman.
