Austin Rivers Out 4-6 Weeks

Clippers

According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com Los Angeles Clippers guard Austin Rivers has a suffered a broken hand and will be out 4-6 weeks.

Dan Woike of the Orange County Register also reported the news.

Rivers missed the Clippers last game due to the hand injury. Many fans in Orlando were looking forward to the Winter Park native as well as the return of J.J. Redick.

Rivers went to Twitter to provide some motivation for his comeback.

With Rivers and Blake Griffin out the Clippers will need to find a way to fill the void. Expect Lance Stephenson to receive more minutes over the next few weeks. When the Clippers acquired him this offseason Doc Rivers felt that Stephenson would be able to receive minutes at the point guard position.
