Lakers Take On Spurs In San Antonio

@NBAcom

The Los Angeles Lakers will take on the San Antonio Spurs tonight at the ATT&T Center. Los Angeles comes into the game on a two game winning streak and will try to end the Spurs current home winning streak.

San Antonio comes into tonight’s game with a 42-8 record while the Lakers sport a 11-41 clip. Kobe Bryant missed practice yesterday but will play tonight.

The Spurs are without Manu Ginobili who will be out four to six weeks have injuring his groin against the Pelicans. He was required to have testicular surgery which was surprising to everyone.

It is unknown the status of Tim Duncan who has missed some time due to a knee injury. He did not play yesterday and his status is unclear at the time of this writing but he is probably doubtful.

San Antonio is led by their two All-Stars Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge. Leonard has emerged as one of the best players in the league and is a lethal shooter and a lockdown defender.

With Leonard on the floor it’ll be tough for Bryant to continue his strong play. Aldridge came to the Spurs from Portland and has been finding his way in San Antonio. He was named an All-Star and is a good compliment to Leonard, Danny Green, and Tony Parker.

It’ll be a fun battle but a tall order for the Lakers to get a win.
