Ducks Make it 6 In A Row With Win Over Yotes

The Anaheim Ducks beat the Arizona Coyotes on Friday night to push their win streak to six in a row. Anaheim is playing some of their best hockey of the year and last night was no difference.
Arizona got on the board first when Tobias Rieder scored a wrist shot goal. It was his 11th goal of the season and was assisted by Shane Doan (11). After the first period the Yotes led 1-0.
In the second period Anaheim struck first. Hampus Lindholm scored a snap shot goal to tie the game at 1-1. For Lindholm it was his 6th goal of the year and was assisted by Rickard Rakell (14) and Patrick Maroon (8).
A minute later Mike Santorelli got on the board with a backhanded goal that was his 6th of the year. This pushed the Ducks out in front 2-1.
At the end of the period Arizona tied the game with a Doan backhanded goal. It was his 19th of the year and was assisted by Antoine Vermette (13) and Oliver Ekman-Larsson (23).
The third period was all Anaheim. Corey Perry scored a wrist shot goal to put Anaheim in front. For Perry it was his 21st goal of the year and was assisted by Rakell (15) and Patrick Maroon (9).
A minute later Andrew Cogliano scored a tip-in goal to push the lead to 4-2. For Cogliano it was his 5th goal off the year. Kevin Bieksa (8) and Ryan Kesler (14) were credited with the assists.
Maroon scored his second goal of the year to cap off the night. Kesler (15) and Sami Vatanen (18) were credited with the assists and the Ducks won 5-2.
Up next Anaheim will take on the Pittsburgh on Monday night.
