The American Hockey League held its annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the cultured Crouse Hinds Theater in Syracuse, New York as part of the AHL’s All-Star Classic last weekend.  The four men to be enshrined forever with this honor were 4 time Calder Cup winner Bruce Cline, former Captain of the Hershey Bears (and player for the Los Angeles Blades for one season in the old Western Hockey League), Ralph Keller, One of the winningest goaltenders in AHL history Jean-Francois Labbe, and 66-year-old Bruce Landon, who is best known as the co-owner, president and general manager of the Springfield Falcons but known to those that remember in the Kingdom as a former Los Angeles Kings’ goaltending prospect that helped the Kings’ minor league affiliate the Springfield Kings, win the Calder Cup way back in 1971, (before the Manchester Monarchs and the current Ontario Reign, there were these warriors!)

*(Sidenote – The Calder Cup was also in attendance and yours truly made sure he got a picture with it and a picture of the 2015 Manchester Monarchs nameplate with all the engraved names of that Championship team!)
