Lakers Take On Mavericks At Staples

The Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Dallas Mavericks at the Staples Center tonight. Los Angeles has lost six in a row coming into tonight.

Dallas comes into tonight’s game with a 25-21 record while the Lakers sport a 9-37 clip. Dallas is coming off a 115-104 loss to the Houston Rockets over the weekend thanks to James Harden and his triple-double.

Zaza Pachulia is listed as doubtful for tonight’s game. He is dealing with a leg injury that forced him to miss Sunday’s game against the Rockets.

Devin Harris is also listed as doubtful. He is dealing with a toe injury that forced him to leave Sunday’s game early. For Los Angeles Ryan Kelly is listed as questionable for the game.

He is dealing with an illness and did not participate in practice yesterday. Larry Nance Jr. is expected to return to the lineup today. He has been dealing with a knee injury.

Dallas is led by future Hall of Famer Dirk Nowitzki. Nowitzki is averaging 17.7 points and close to 7 rebounds a night. He will probably be named to the All-Star team again this year.

Deron Williams is also having a resurgence this year. After a tough time in Brooklyn Nets he has found a home in Dallas and is averaging 14.2 points and 5.6 assists a night.

Kobe Bryant will be out tonight. It would have been the final time that he and Dirk Nowitzki squared off. Fans can watch these two greats on NBATV.
