Segedin is a third round pick of the New York Yankees in 2010. He has spent his career in the minors. Last season he spent time in Double-A and Triple-A.
Between the two leagues he hit .287 with 7 home runs and 34 RBI’s. With the move the Dodgers will look to bolster their minor league system.
