Galaxy Re-Sign Alan Gordon
- Updated: January 12, 2016
Los Angeles Galaxy “Super-Sub” Alan Gordon officially re-signed with the club on Monday. The 34 year-old fan favorite hinted last Friday that this was going to happen as he seemingly could not hold in his excitement for this to become official,

Gordon, who was acquired by the Galaxy in a transfer from San Jose in 2014, has been one of the club’s most consistent scorers off the bench since his arrival. He put ten goals in the net last season and even got two call ups to the United States International Team thanks to his amazing play.
Galaxy manager Bruce Arena is usually rather quiet about his signings during these transfer periods but remained vocal about the idea that he wanted Gordon back for the Galaxy this upcoming season.
“We’d like Alan back with us,” Arena told LA Galaxy Insider. “We’re hopeful that we can work on the issues with the salary cap and bring him back.”
The terms of the deal for the forward have not been release but it seems pretty safe to say that everyone is very happy to have Gordon back in Los Angeles for another season of MLS.
