Lakers Struggle To Score Fall To Jazz
- Updated: January 11, 2016
The Los Angeles Lakers took on the Utah Jazz on Saturday night without Kobe Bryant, D’Angelo Russell, and Brandon Bass and fell 86-74.
With the loss the Lakers record sits at 8-31 on the season as they try to improve on last season’s heartaches. For Los Angeles Lou Williams led the team with 18 points, 6 assists, and 8 rebounds.
Jordan Clarkson reached double figures with 14 points and 2 rebounds. Larry Nance Jr. recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Julius Randle scored 11 points off the bench and grabbed 7 rebounds.
For Utah Gordon Hayward led the way. He scored 25 points to lead all scorers. Rodney Hood added 14 points and 6 rebounds.
Rudy Gobert scored 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds as he works his way back into the lineup. Trey Burke scored 10 points off the bench for his ball club.
Los Angeles connected on just 29/89 shots from the field. A 33% field goal percentage to go long with a 14% three point percentage won’t win you any games.
Up next the Lakers will take on the New Orleans Pelicans at home tomorrow night. Fans can watch that game on NBATV.
