LA Kings Take On Maple Leafs

The LA Kings will take on the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday night as they look to rebound from their last game. Toronto comes into this game on a four game winning streak and are looking to streak their way back to the playoffs.

Los Angeles comes into this game with a 25-12-2 record, while the Maple Leafs sport a 16-15-7 clip. Toronto is coming off a 4-0 shutout win over the Ducks last night.

Jonathan Bernier has made 39 saves in each of his last three starts. P.A. Parenteau scored twice last night and Tyler Bozak got to two assists.

Los Angeles will be without Matt Greene the rest of the season. He underwent shoulder surgery back in December and will need the rest of the year to fully recover.

The LA Kings also reassigned Derek Forbort to the AHL. They acquired Vincent Lecavalier and Like Schenn from the Flyers for Jordan Weal and a third round pick.

Toronto is led by James van Riemsdyk and Leo Komarov. Riemsdyk leads the team with 29 points, 14 goals and 15 assists. Komarov is second on the team with 28 points, 15 goals and 13 assists.

Jonathan Quick is expected to be in goal tonight after having the night off against the Avs. Let’s get back in the win column!
