Clippers Push Streak To 7 Beat Blazers

The Los Angeles Clippers extended their winning streak to 7 in a row on Wednesday night when they beat the Portland Trail Blazers 109-98.

C.J. McCollum was unable to play last night due to a freak mistake where he was left off the active roster. Chris Paul had a monster game with 21 points and 19 assists.

J.J. Redick also scored 20 points for the Clippers. When he scores 20 or more the Clippers are 35-4 since he’s been on the team.

Paul Pierce scored 17 points including 5 three pointers. DeAndre Jordan had a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Austin Rivers continued his strong play off the bench with 16 points. Jamal Crawford also reached double figures with 10 points.

Damian Lillard led the way for the Blazers with a near triple-double. He scored 20 points to go along with 9 assists and 7 rebounds. Mason Plumlee also had a strong game with 19 points and 9 rebounds.

Allen Crabbe chipped in with 11 points. Ed Davis had double-double off the bench with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Meyers Leonard also reached double-figures off the bench 10 points as well.

Los Angeles shot 51% from the field while Portland shot 44%. Los Angeles continues to shoot the three ball successfully as they connected on 11 of 23 attempts.

The Clippers will take on the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday afternoon at 12:30.
