Ducks Start 2016 In Canada

The Anaheim Ducks will begin the 2016 campaign in Vancouver when they take on the Canucks tonight. Anaheim is coming off of back to back shutout performances from John Gibson.
The Ducks come into this game with a 15-15-6 record, while the Canucks have a 14-15-9 clip. Vancouver has won two of their last three games.
Vancouver reassigned Ashton Sautner to the AHL on Thursday so he will not play tonight. Sven Baertschi is dealing with an upper body injury and does not have a timetable for a return.
Chris Tanev has an undisclosed injury but should be able to play tonight. He is an important blue-line player and will be crucial for the Canucks in 2016.
Vancouver is led by Daniel Sedin and Henrik Sedin. Daniel leads the team with 37 points on the season. 16 goals and 21 assists, while Henrik is second on the team with 9 goals and 24 assists for 33 points.
Anaheim rolls into this game on a three game winning streak and look to push that number to four after tonight.
