Anaheim Ducks Closes Out 2015 In Edmonton

The Anaheim Ducks will take on the Edmonton Oilers in their final game of the calendar year in 2015. Anaheim is coming off a 1-0 win over the Calgary Flame on Tuesday night.

Anaheim comes into this game with 14-15-6 record while Edmonton comes into tonight with a 15-20-3 clip. Edmonton has lost three in a row with their most recent loss coming to the Los Angeles Kings 5-2.

Brandon Davidson is expected to return to the lineup tonight. He has been dealing with a rib injury. Iiro Pakarinen missed practice on Wednesday due to an undisclosed injury and his status is uncertain at this time.

Cam Talbot struggled in goal against the Kings. He allowed three goals on 14 shots and was pulled from the game. Anders Nilsson made 17 saves but allowed two goals in relief.

Edmonton is lead by Taylor Hall and Leon Draisaitl. Hall leads the team with 40 points on the year, 15 goals and 25 assists. Draisaitl is second on the team with 9 goals and 22 assists for 31 points.

Shea Theodore made his NHL debut the ducks in his last game. John Gibson recorded his second shutout of the season as well.
