Chargers Beat Dolphins 30-14

In what may be the final game in San Diego the Chargers beat the Miami Dolphins 30-14. Emotions ran through many of the players including Philip Rivers who got choked up during moments of the game.
San Diego got on the board first when Rivers connected with Danny Woodhead for a 20 yard touchdown. Josh Lambo missed the extra point and Chargers led 6-0.
Lambo made up for it with a 28 yard field goal that pushed the lead to 9-0. Woodhead scored another touchdown in the second quarter when he rushed for a two yard touchdown. This pushed the lead to 16-0.
Rivers connected with Woodhead for a third touchdown for a 9 yard strike. This gave the Chargers a 23-0 lead heading into halftime.
In the third quarter the Dolphins got on the board. Jay Ajayi rushed for a 12 yard touchdown. This cut the lead to 23-7.
Rivers and Woodhead connected for another touchdown in the fourth quarter. The tandem connected on another 9 yard touchdown and the Bolts extended the lead to 30-7.
Ryan Tannehill rushed for a one yard touchdown at the end of the game to push the score to 30-14. That was the end of the scoring and the Bolts won 30-14.
Rivers ended the game with 311 yards passing with 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Donald Brown lead the way with 90 yards rushing. Antonio Gates caught 6 passes for 88 yards.
The Chargers will take on the Raiders on Thursday night football for their next matchup.
