Preview: Los Angeles Clippers vs. Houston Rockets
- Updated: December 19, 2015
There is a little history between the Los Angeles Clippers and Houston Rockets and the Clippers weren’t over it when they met earlier this season.
Remember the Western Conference Semis? Yeah, ok we’ll leave it there.
Both the Clippers and the Rockets have started out the season slowly, but they have been heating up as of late. Houston have won 8/12 since their 5-10 start, while Los Angeles has won 9/12 since a 7-8 start.
The Clippers were on a three-game winning streak until the once defeated San Antonio Spurs knocked it back to zero.
Chris Paul had 27 points, Blake Griffin had 25, and DeAndre Jordan had 16 points and 17 rebounds. Although their numbers look good, they are still struggling to play together as a team. CP3 made a comment on it after the game last night:
“We just need to start playing consistently together on the same night,” Paul said.
The Houston Rockets will be without their back-up point guard Ty Lawson for two games (without pay) following a suspension for a “drunken-driving case in Colorado.”
The game will kick-off at 5 p.m. PST and you can catch it on Prime Ticket, and League Pass.
If the Clippers can get their defense right, there is a good chance they can come out on top of this matchup. Just keep James Harden out of the kitchen, and Dwight Howard out of the paint.
