According to Jon Heyman of CBSsports.com the Los Angeles Angels are looking to move pitcher C.J. Wilson.

Heyman reported that Angels have made Wilson available, which could set up the Angels to make a bigger splash in free agency. With younger options like Max Scherzer and James Shields it would make sense for the Angels to try to shed Wilson’s contract.

Wilson is 34 years old and struggled last season. He posted a 13-10 record, but a 4.51 ERA. A major problem with Wilson is that he is allotted $38 million dollars over the next 2 seasons.

With the amount of pitchers available on the market, it may be hard for the Angels to move him, but if they can they will be able to make a run at one of the big dogs.

Angels fans what do you think? Should the Angels move C.J. Wilson?
