Next Stop Montreal; LA Kings Take On Canadiens

The LA Kings will continue their long road trip when they take on the Montreal Canadiens tonight. Both teams have played some solid hockey this season and are a top of their respective divisions.
Los Angeles comes into tonight’s game with a 19-9-2 record, while the Canadiens sport a 20-9-3 record. Los Angeles has loss back to back games after winning the first two of the road trip.
Mike Condon will be in goal for the Canadiens. Dustin Tokarski got the start in Montreal’s last game and didn’t fair too well allowing three goals.
Torrey Mitchell made his return to the lineup on Tuesday night as well. He had missed the previous 11 games due to a lower-body injury.
Montreal is led by Tomas Plekanec, Max Pacioretty and P.K. Subban. Plekanec leads the team with 27 points. 7 goals and 20 assists. Pacioretty has 26 points 14 goals and 12 assists. Subban has 22 points on the year 1 goal and 21 assists.
Los Angeles has looked tired in their last few games due to the long road trip. With a few days off they should be ready to go when they take the nice tonight.
Jeff Carter did not participate in morning skate this morning. He is expected to play as he often skips morning skate according to Helene Elliott.
