Clippers Grind Out Win In Minnesota

The Los Angeles Clippers grinded out a win in Minnesota on Monday night 110-106. Last night’s win makes it five out of their last six results ending in victories.
Los Angeles came into last night’s game with a win over the Orlando Magic over the weekend in dramatic fashion. They won in a similar fashion on the road.
Zach LaVine led the way for the Timberwolves. He had 21 points, 2 assists and 3 rebounds off the bench. Gorgui Dieng and Shabazz Muhammad also reached double figures off the bench with 14 and 13 point respectively.
Karl-Anthony Towns chipped in 18 points while Ricky Rubio added 16 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds. Andrew Wiggins was held to just 8 points.
For Los Angeles DeAndre Jordan led the way with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Chris Paul and J.J. Redick made surprise returns to the lineup. Paul had 14 while Redick scored 13 points.
Blake Griffin had a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Jamal Crawford chipped in 18 points off the bench to go along with 7 assists and 3 rebounds. Wesley Johnson continued his strong play with 10 points.
The fourth quarter was where the Clippers made the biggest impact. They outscored the Timberwolves 39-29 in the quarter on their way to the victory.
Los Angeles did an excellent job of knocking down their free throws last night. They went 26/29 from the line for 90%. They did struggle from three point land however. They connected on just 8/25 attempts for 32%.
The Clippers will take on the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night in Milwaukee.
