Los Angeles Clippers: Chris Paul Out

Los Angeles Clippers star point guard Chris Paul left the team’s November 30th 102-87 win over the Portland Trailblazers with an apparent rib injury. After missing the Clippers loss to Indiana Wednesday night it appears Paul will miss a few games, according to head coach Doc Rivers.

Rowan Kavner of the Clippers reported news.

The seven time all-star may have attempted to play through the injury that reportedly came to his attention before the game against Portland,

Paul is a player the Clippers desperately need to remain healthy as health issues have haunted him in the past. With the Clippers struggling out of the gates this season, currently sitting at a disappointing 10-9 record, having their leader Paul is crucial to the club turning this ship around.

The Clippers next game will be against the Orlando Magic in Los Angeles Saturday night at 7:30 PST. The Clippers are coming off a loss to the Pacers as they entered Staples on a 5 game winning streak.

The Magic are on a five game winning streak if their own.
