Anaheim Ducks Face Vancouver Canucks
- Updated: November 30, 2015
The Anaheim Ducks will face off against the Vancouver Canucks tonight at the Honda Center. The Ducks are coming off a crushing loss to the Chicago Blackhawks in overtime on Friday night.
With the loss Anaheim is on a two game losing streak and will to get back in the win column. For Ducks fans that are disappointed with the way season has gone thus far they have nothing to complain about compared to the Canucks’ fans. Vancouver has lost nine of their last 12 and looks nothing like the team that is a shoe in for the playoffs.
Anaheim needs to take advantage of the poor play for Vancouver and the tired legs. Vancouver ha played 10 of their last 13 games on the road.
Vancouver will also most likely be without Ben Hutton who is recovering from a lower body injury. He did practice yesterday but is not expected to play in tonight’s matchup.
The Canucks are lead by the twins Daniel Sedin and Henrik Sedin. Daniel leads the team with 27 points thus far with 11 goals and 16 assists, with Henrik as 8 goals and 15 assists.
If the Ducks can get into power play situations they should be able to take advantage. Vancouver has struggled giving up 14 power play goals over the last 12 games.
