Clippers Break Pelicans Win Streak
- Updated: November 28, 2015
The Los Angeles Clippers managed to come out on top last night as the team beat the New Orleans Pelicans 111-90.
It was a game between two teams who desperately needed to find a rhythm and the Clips show are able to leave happily.
The Pelicans? Well they aren’t so happy, and it isn’t because they lost. New Orleans lost their star, Anthony Davis, mid game after a collision with Chris Paul resulted in a contusion of the knee. He should not be out of action for long and was able to spend the final minutes with his teammates on the bench, instead of in the locker room. Anthony Davis finished the game with 17 points and 6 rebounds.
Clippernation.com writes the following on their last night stats:
“[They]finished better than +20 in plus/minus, to the roughly 12% advantage in both field goal and 3-point conversion rates.”
The Clippers hit 200th consecutive home sellout. WOW
Jamal Crawford also made history last night as his 9 points helped him reach the top-100 NBA All-Time Scoring List.
They will play again tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
