LA Kings Continue Road Trip In Motor City
- Updated: November 20, 2015
The LA Kings will continue their road trip tonight as they take on the Detroit Red Wings in Motor City. Los Angeles is coming off an exciting win over the Philadelphia Flyers in their last contest.
Los Angeles began the season playing most of their games at home. Now they hit a part of their schedule where the players are packing some big suitcases as they won’t have many games at Staples over the next few weeks.
In their six games on the road thus far the Kings post a strong 6-1-0 record. They are almost halfway to their entire win total on the road last season.
Detroit has lost three of their last four games and will try to win one for the home fans. The Red Wings are led by Henrik Zetterberg who leads the club with 15 points. He has 4 goals and 11 assists so far this season. Dylan Larkin has 6 goals and 7 assist as well so the Kings defense will need to weary of him.
Zetterberg has found much success against the Kings recently. He has 13 points in his last 9 games Los Angeles.
Goaltender Jonathan Quick is coming off an impressive display in the LA Kings last game. He made 36 saves in the win including some great work in the 3 on 3 overtime and shootout.
Let’s keep the winning training going! Go Kings Go!
