Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register also reported the news.
Being the sleuth that I am, I suspect the Ducks have called up Shea Theodore from AHL San Diego. D-man’s on my connection to Nashville.

Theodore was a first round pick in the 2013 NHL draft. Reports surfaced that Josh Manson missed yesterday’s win due to flu symptoms so the call up for Theodore will be an insurance policy if Manson can’t play tonight.
Theodore is just 20 years of age and has great potential to have a long NHL career. If he plays tonight it will be his NHL debut.
The Anaheim Ducks official Twitter account confirmed the news of the call up via Twitter.
