Holzer is a former 4th round pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs back in 2006. He had spent the last 3 years with the Leafs before joining the Ducks this offseason.
Abbey Mastracco of NHL.com also reported the news of the callup. He was recently sent down and rapidly called back up.
Just as quick as Korbinian Holzer goes back down, the Ducks call him back up. Barely made it through the burrito line!

The move was probably made to add some depth for the Ducks upcoming road trip. Holzer has appeared in 7 games totaling 1 point this season.
The Ducks will begin their road trip tonight against the Carolina Hurricanes and 7:00 p.m. PST
We will continue to monitor the Ducks as their season progresses.
