Blue Jackets Square Off Against Red Hot LA Kings
- Updated: November 5, 2015
The struggling Columbus Blue Jackets square off against the red hot LA Kings tonight at the Staples Center tonight. For the Kings they have won 8 out of their last 9 games and are in the midst of some great overall play.
Ironically both teams started the season slow out of the gates. The LA Kings have been able to recover while the Blue Jackets are still trying to find their way.
Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli have led the way for Los Angeles. Carter has 5 goals and 5 assists in his last 7 games. Toffoli has 8 goals and 2 assists during his last 9 games; not too bad I guess.
Reports have surfaced earlier today that Anze Kopitar will be available for tonight’s contest. Jon Rosen of lakingsinsider.com reported the news.

Jonathan Quick got the night off against the St.Louis Blues. Rosen reported that their is a good chance that he will be back in goal tonight.
Quick left the ice shortly after Enroth. Good chance he’ll start tonight. #ReverseLAKingsGoalieTweetOff

No game is ever considered an easy win and tonight can be defined as a trap game. If the Kings don’t come out with energy and let the Blue Jackets hang around it could be a long night.
