Bob Nightengale of USA Today confirmed the news.
Don Mattingly will be the #Marlins 8th manager since 2010.

Mattingly and Dodgers mutually parted ways after a disappointing end to the season. Even though the Dodgers won the NL West Crown three straight years they failed to reach the World Series and the two parties felt it was time to go a different direction.
Mattingly is a great manager and he was the front-runner for the Marlins jobs all along. We wish nothing but the best for Mattingly.
