Lions Claim OL Michael Ola Off Waivers

According to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune the Detroit Lions have claimed offensive lineman Michael Ola off of waivers from the San Diego Chargers.

Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union Tribune also reported the news.
Lions have claimed G-T Michael Ola, adding him to 53-man roster, source says. Chargers waived him Monday. Hoped to sign to practice squad.

Ola has spent time in the Canadian League and the NFL with the Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears, and San Diego Chargers.
