Rivers looks like he will not play in the preseason games in China with the injury. The injury does not seem to be anything long-term.
Rivers is expected to be the primary ball handler off the bench with Jamal Crawford. The Clippers are hoping that the revamped bench unit will be able to produce in the regular season and playoffs to take some pressure off the starters.
