The transformation of the Los Angeles Clippers has been amazing to watch. From the absolutely unbearable games, to one of the most exciting teams in the NBA, it is a thrilling time to be a Clippers fan.

But…is this the ceiling for the Clippers? Are they just a team full of temporary thrills that will never be able to compete for a NBA championship?

Many will agree that they have taken over of the Staples Center as the “team to watch” in Los Angeles. Sorry Laker fans, it is time to face the harsh truth, the Clippers run LA for the time being. There is no denying that the pieces are there for them to take their talents all the way to June.

My question is, why is there still a debate if the Los Angeles Clippers are contenders or merely pretenders?

Let’s have a look at that, shall we?
