San Diego Chargers Vs. Cincinnati Bengals Start Time, Preview, TV
- Updated: September 20, 2015
The San Diego Chargers will travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals in a AFC matchup. With some much cloudt around the team and their future it was great to see the Bolts walk away with a Week 1 victory.
The Bengals won their Week 1 matchup as well so both teams are looking to improve to 2-0. It was the Oakland Raiders were the Bengals victims. The most controversial play of that game was when Adam Jones slammed wide receiver Amari Cooper to the ground and received at $35,000 fine.
Philip Rivers helped rallied the Chargers from a 18-point deficit to win last week. He threw for over 400 yards and tied Dan Fouts for the franchise record for most TD passes. The Chargers offense could be moving effectively today.
The Bengals secondary may be down or a few starters. George Iloka is dealing with a foot injury and Reggie Nelson is dealing with a groin that forced them to miss practice earlier in the week.
It would not surprise me if Rivers looked to test those safeties early to try and see how their movement is. On the other side of the ball the Chargers will need to watch out for Tyler Eifert and A.J. Green.
Eifert is a tight end and had a great game last week against the Raiders. He caught 9 passes for over 100 yards and looked to be Andy Dalton‘s favorite target. With most of the attention put on Green, Eifert was able to get free and make the most of his opportunities.
