Kobe Bryant Leads Lakers Past Raptors In Overtime 129-122

Kobe Bryant put together his 20th triple-double of his career as the Lakers were able to beat the Toronto Raptors 129-122 in overtime. The win snapped a Laker four game losing streak, the most recent loss against the Minnesota TimberWolves.

Kobe Bryant had 31 points, 12 assists, and 11 rebounds in the Lakers win Sunday night. All 5 starters for the Lakers reached double figures and Nick Young added 20 points off the bench.

Jordan Hill recorded another double-double on the year. He scored 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, and Carlos Boozer scored 18 points and grabbed 9 boards.

Swaggy P hit 5 three’s off the bench which gave the Lakers a huge boost. It was a great shooting night for the Lakers as they shot 49% from the field and 42% from three.

For the Raptors, it was there first game without star player DeMar Derozan who suffered an ankle injury last time out. Kyle Lowry scored 29 points and had 9 assists, while Terrance Ross added 20 points of his own.

The Raptors struggled to shoot the ball from distance. They connected on just 9 of 34 attempts, a low 27%.

There was some history that took place in Los Angeles Sunday night. Kobe Bryant dished his 6,000th assist of his career making him the only player in NBA history to score 30,000 points and have 6,000 assists in his career.

The win tonight is the Lakers fourth on the year. They will hit the road for the start of a three game road trip against the Detroit Pistons Tuesday night.
