Jimmy Rollins Expected To Return On Friday

LOS ANGELES, Ca- According to Alana Rizzo of the Dodgers.com, Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Jimmy Rollins is expected to return to the lineup on Friday against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Rollins is dealing with a sore knuckle and has not played the last few games. Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reported that X-Rays came back negative.

Corey Seager has filled in for Rollins quite nicely over the last few games. Rollins is batting .220 in 130 games this season.
The Dodgers are one of the hottest teams in baseball and are jockeying for position for the playoffs. They currently hold a 8.5 game lead over the San Francisco Giants as of today.
It looks as if the Dodgers revamped roster has paid off and will head into the playoffs full head of steam.
