Blue Jays Trade Chris Heisey To Dodgers

LOS ANGELES, Ca.- According to Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com the Los Angeles Dodgers have re-acquired Chris Heisey from the Tornoto Blue Jays.

Heisey was with the Dodgers at the beginning of the season and was cut early last month. He hit just .154 in his 34 plate appearances in Los Angeles.
Jon Morosi of FOX Sports reported that Heisey would be in uniform last night for the club.

Heisey will most likely but on the roster for September to provide additional depth in the Yasiel Puig absence. Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reported that Heisey will be available for the playoffs.
