Public Humiliation Isn’t So Bad When You’re A Millionaire

(Photo via Twitter User @_ClippersNation)

NBA players are all in the millionaire bracket, and some of the most talented and gifted people on the planet.

Most of us would kill to have 5% of the talent they have, but then again, would we?

Looking on from afar, it constantly amazes me how many NBA athletes struggle to throw a ball 18.4 metres (or 60 feet in your American lingo).

Just a few days ago, newly acquired Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul Pierce threw the ceremonial pitch at Dodger Stadium.

I dare say it may have even prompted Doc Rivers to re-think signing him.

“On no. That is awful.”

I agree, Doc.

So what other NBA players have put their entertainment skills to use from the mound?

Well it’s a good thing Amir Johnson got a hefty contract (2 years, $24 million) because baseball recruiters probably wouldn’t have come calling.

Meanwhile, Joakim Noah‘s NBA form might have been on the slide of late however his pitching could’ve been a lot worse.

At least he redeemed himself.

Fresh off an NBA Finals MVP performance, Dirk Nowitzki would’ve been excused for pitching this out of the stadium, although he seemed quite pleased with his efforts.

And while James Harden might have a nice shooting stroke, his pitching form leaves a lot to be desired.

And all whilst wearing jean shorts? C’mon James, you’re better than that.

However, I’ve left the best (or worst) till last.

There aren’t many NBA fans who dislike John Wall. Well, I’ll let you rethink your opinion of him after this effort.

Don’t give up your day job, John.
