There has been many rumors about Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig been linked to a few trades. Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reported that the Dodgers informed Puig he will not be traded. Here is a quote from Heyman’s article.
Puig, the mercurial and occasionally controversial talent, was reassured within the last couple days in New York after hearing rumors he could be dealt to the Reds or elsewhere for needed pitching, according to those sources. Puig took the extra step of inquiring about his status after hearing the rumors.
Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe reported that Puig is not necessarily a locker room guy.

The Dodgers are pushing hard for pitching and some believed Puig would be part of a deal. The young talented outfielder looks to be staying in Los Angeles for now. Things could change as Andrew Friedman has proven his unpredictability.
