Angels Acquire Conor Gillaspie

According to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have acquired third baseman Conor Gillaspie from the Chicago White Sox.

Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times also reported the news.

This move will help fill the void of David Freese who went on the DL after fracturing his finger earlier in the week. The Angels are currently atop the AL West and are looking to solidify that spot.
This is the first move the Angels have made we’ll continue to monitor their movement.
