Huston Street To Throw Bullpen Session Friday

According to Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim pitcher Huston Street is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Friday.
#Angels closer Huston Street threw off flat ground today. Pushed bullpen session back to Friday. If all goes well should be ready Saturday.

Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register also reported the news.
Angels Huston Street said he feels “ready to go.” Will throw a bullpen tomorrow and be available to pitch on Saturday.

Street has not pitched since July 9th after he suffered a groin injury. DiGiovanna reported the news of the injury on the 9th.
#Angels closer Huston Street said “a return for this series is doubtful.” But he’s optimistic he will be OK for after All-Star break.
