Dodgers Rally In 7th, Beat Brewers 3-2

The Los Angeles Dodgers rallied back from a 2-0 deficit to beat the Milwaukee Brewers 3-2 Friday night. This marks 3 wins in a row for the “Boys in Blue”.

For the Dodgers Mike Bolsinger got the start. He pitched 6 innings allowing 4 hits and 2 runs. He struck out 6 and walked one as he picked up the no decision. He also threw 83 pitches, 57 for strikes.

For the Brew Crew Jimmy Nelson got the start and was flawless until the 7th inning. He pitched 7 innings allowing 5 hits and 3 runs, 0 earned to go along with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks. Nelson threw 94 pitches with 62 of them being strikes.

The offense got started in the 5th inning when Gerardo Parra grounded out to second but was able to bring in Jean Segura. Scooter Gennett was able to score on a wild pitch and the Brewers held a 2-0 advantage.

The Dodgers answered back in the 7th inning. Andre Ethier hit a big 2-run single that brought Alex Guerrero and Jimmy Rollins in.

Joc Pederson followed with a RBI double and the Dodgers took a 3-2 lead.

Kenley Jansen came on in the 9th inning and shut the club down for his 15th save of the year. He struck out two in his inning of work.

The Brewers and Dodgers will face off again tomorrow night at 7:10 p.m. PST. Taylor Jungmann and Brandon Beachy are set to square off.
