Clippers Expected To Ink Cole Aldrich

According to Arash Markazi of ESPNLosAngeles.com the Los Angeles Clippers are expected to reach an agreement with free agent center Cole Aldrich.
The Clippers haven’t signed Cole Aldrich yet but they’re talking today and the expectation is he’ll sign soon.

Markazi reported the Clippers were interested in the big man when they learned that DeAndre Jordan would be heading to Dallas.
If DeAndre Jordan had left, Aldrich was on the Clippers’ list of targets to replace him. Now he’ll be Jordan’s back-up.

Once Aldrich signs with Clippers it looks as if they will have the most depth they’ve had in recent history.

Derek Wetmore of ESPN.com reported that deal will be a 2-year agreement.

Aldrich was originally drafted in the first round of the 2011 NBA draft by the New Orleans Hornets. He has spent time with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings, and New York Knicks. Aldrich will add depth to roster. Welcome to Lob City Cole Aldrich!
