Mavs Give Up On DeAndre Jordan

According to Ken Berger of CBSSports.com the Dallas Mavericks have given up on the idea of DeAndre Jordan joining thier team.
The Mavs have conceded in their quest for DeAndre Jordan, league source tells @CBSSports. Moving on and “hitting reset button,” source says.

The Jordan saga began early this afternoon when reports surfaced that Jordan was having second thoughts about his decision to leave the Clippers.
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reported some of the events that took place tonight. Reports surfaced that the Clippers were not going to leave Jordan’s house until a contract was signed.
So far, Clippers able to keep everyone else out of house, including Cuban, agents. Everyone. They’re in four-corners until midnight Eastern.

Even if the Clippers received a solid confirmation from Jordan that he would be joining the team Wojnarowski reported that the Clippers need the agents to seal the deal.
DeAndre Jordan needs an agent certification on contract, invalid without it. Agents are expected to join Clippers, Jordan tonight at house.

Wojnarowski reported that both parties knew why they were at Jordan’s house. The meeting was short and to the point.

With Jordan you never know until the deal is signed, sealed, and delivered but it looks as if he will be rejoining the Clippers next season.
